This adventure happens once a year and should be on everyone’s bucket list. The length of the trip is 8 days. Fall weather is pleasant but a little chilly so a warm sweater or a light jacket is a must. It is full of culture, history, traditions, beautiful colonial architecture, and a bit of natural adventure. Available seats are limited so don’t hesitate too long to book, although you will have another chance.

The trip includes:

  • transport from the Mexico city airports, to all of the stops listed in the tentative itinerary and back.

  • two full meals per day + a daily local treat

  • stay at locally owned hotels

  • one daily activity which vary from street theatre, boat rides, paragliding, off roading, etc.

Stops at (tentative):

  • Valle de Bravo

  • Morelia

  • Monarch Butterfly Natural Reserve

  • Patzcuaro

  • Janitzio

  • Guanajuato City

Your Kuixe reservation does not include airfare to Mexico City (see terms for details); please arrange your flight to arrive a day before the start of your adventure. Our Kuixe staff will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel from where the adventure begins the following day. At the end of the trip, you will be dropped off at the same hotel which concludes your Kuixe experience. The stops in the itinerary are usually within 2-2.5 hours of each other to spend less time driving and more time exploring. Unfortunately, some tours require an occasional long stretch of about 4-5 hours.

Need to accommodate a large group? With Custom Trips you can customize the stops, activities and trip length for a private group! Costs per adventurer varies by number of adventurers, trip length, comfort level, and dining options.
